Pete has worked at WWF-Canada for 22 years. He has a background in marine conservation biology and avian ecology, and traveled extensively in Canada and internationally pursuing major wildlife conservation results.
Pete is currently focused on reconnecting urban people with tangible nature conservation activities across the Greater Toronto Area. Through the WWF-Canada programs ‘InTheZone’ and ‘Nature-connected-Communities’, he is active as a public speaker to inspire people to get practically involved with wildlife and nature in their neighbourhoods.
Pete offers musicians a shared passion for music - an addiction that began when he was at boarding school in the UK playing piano and flute in short trousers. He now plays mainly stringed instruments in PandaBand and as a composer (indie, folk-rock, blues).

By Lubna Mousa and Kim Foster
———
To be launched in Toronto April 2019.
Lubna Mousa and Kim Foster are local artists in Toronto collaborating on an art installation called ‘Tree of Life’. This piece will be launched in April 2019 as a life sized installation using waste and recycled products.
Lubna Mousa was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. She holds a bachelor degree in Architecture from the University of Technology (Iraq), and has received training in fine arts. Since moving to Canada in 2012, Lubna continued her art education and participated in a number of exhibitions including ‘The Artist Project, Toronto’. In 2018, she completed a Creative Entrepreneurship program by Artscape Daniel’s Launchpad in the Toronto. Lubna’s work is exhibited at the Paris and Amman offices of United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Her work can also be found at the homes of her fans, friends and family around the world.
Kim Foster has had a dual career stream. She worked for 15 years as a psychologist in South Africa before moving to Toronto. Kim has continued this work and is in the process of registration for independent practice. Her true love is visual art - she paints, draws and would love to learn sculpture. Kim recently acquired an art studio and is actively investing in her art career. Her art is her message to the world. It is how she tells the story of her inner life and it is also my way of expressing emotion about societal issues particularly prejudice, inequity and environmental issues.
